Why teams use FountInfo

Huge file support

Optimized for DOCX, PPTX, XLSX and PDF files up to 100MB, including long tables and slide decks.

Layout preservation

Keep fonts, styles, tables, hyperlinks and document structure after translation.

No account, privacy first

You don't create an account. Files are processed on your device, and we don't keep a cloud document library for you.

Smart language detection

Automatic source-language detection across Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, Spanish and more.

Pay after translation

Finish the translation, review the preview images, then decide. Free under 1,000 billed characters; large files are billed only when you download.

Review preview images first

Files longer than 4 pages show the first 2 pages as images; shorter files show page 1. Download the full file after you check quality and layout.

Popular language pairs

How it works

01

Drop in a file

Start without creating an account. PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TXT or CSV, up to 100MB.

02

Confirm languages and translate

We detect the source language. Choose a target language and translate while keeping the original layout.

03

Review the preview, then download

After translation you get preview images: the first 2 pages when the file is longer than 4 pages, otherwise page 1. Previews are images. The full file downloads after you check the result, and large files are paid.

FAQ

Which file formats can I translate?

PDF, Word (DOCX), Excel (XLSX/XLS), PowerPoint (PPTX), TXT and CSV. Maximum upload size is 100MB.

Which languages are supported?

Chinese, English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Arabic and Portuguese — in any source/target combination among these ten.

Is it really free?

Yes for files estimated at 1,000 billed characters or fewer. Chinese, Japanese and Korean count as 2× characters, so about 500 CJK characters already exceed the free limit. Larger files are translated first; you can review preview images, then pay only if you want the full file. After the free allowance, volume pricing starts at ¥0.70 / $0.10 per 1,000 billed characters and falls as the file grows.

How are larger files billed?

The first 1,000 billed characters are free. The rest is billed in slabs: 1,001–20,000 at ¥0.70 / $0.10 per 1,000; 20,001–100,000 at ¥0.50 / $0.071; 100,001–300,000 at ¥0.35 / $0.05; and 300,001+ at ¥0.25 / $0.036. Totals are rounded to the nearest cent. See the pricing page for the full table.

Do I need an account?

No. Open the page and start translating. You don't create an account, and we don't keep a cloud document library for you.

Can I see the translation before I pay?

Yes. When translation finishes, you get preview images: the first 2 pages side by side when the file is longer than 4 pages, or page 1 when it is not. Previews are images, not the full file. Pay to download every page after you check quality and layout.

Will my formatting be kept?

Office files keep styles, tables and most layout. PDFs are semantically reconstructed so headings, lists and links are retained when the source contains real text.

How are Chinese, Japanese and Korean billed?

Those source languages are billed at 2× the extracted character count. The slabs on the pricing page use this billed count, not the raw Word or PDF character count.

Do you keep my files?

We don't create a cloud document library for you. Files are processed mainly on your device; the text needed for translation is used to produce the result. Page 1 review also happens on your device.
